My dogs are low maintenance, but every once in a while I like to pamper them with a visit to the dog groomer so they can have a “Day of Beauty.” I found Steven Dixon just by luck, and love him! As far as I am concerned, he is the best dog groomer in Nashville.
I take my dogs to Tidy Dog and Steven gives them a double bath, brushes them out to remove all that extra hair that they shed and more. The dogs get their teeth brushed, their ears cleaned out and their toenails cut. They don’t need a haircut, but the brushing is really good and they smell so much better when I go pick them up!
I love the way Steven lets the dogs mingle in the back and have some social time with his own dogs. My dogs don’t get to play with other dogs very much, but Steven’s dogs are so used to having dozens of other dogs come in and out of the shop every day that they all make friends easily and play together well. Steven says that even dogs who aren’t known to be very sociable adapt really well to the casual environment of the Tidy Dog Salon. I know that my dogs love going there and I have never had a problem with Steven or any of the dogs.
